After the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, well-to-do Chicagoans fled to Evanston for safety and a better quality of life. They were joined by servants, tradesmen and other middle-class families who moved into homes built by local craftsmen. Evanston’s suburban character was established and the village grew to become one of the North Shore’s premier dining centers.
In the early twenty-first century, a real estate boom in Evanston resulted in the construction of large apartment buildings and an influx of nationally recognized companies moving their headquarters to the town. A variety of community and recreational facilities were also built to accommodate the growing population.

Dr. Silberman received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University and completed his residency at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor achieved by only 2% of dentists in the United States and Canada. This honor requires completion of over 1100 hours of continuing education, 400 of which must be hands on coursework. He is passionate about his profession and enjoys teaching others to be the best dentist they can be. He and his wife, Renee have 4 sons, 1 daughter-in-law and 2 beautiful granddaughters. They enjoy sports, gardening and FaceTiming whenever they can.
